Vindimian Rudi

Winery

The Vindimian family has been vinifying its own grapes since 1880. Across four generations, from Luigi, through Valento, Lino, and finally Rudi - who took over the business in 2005 - based in Lavis.

Rudi manages the small agricultural enterprise by cultivating vineyards between Lavis and Monte Terlago. The nearly 4 hectares of property are mostly located in hilly areas, ranging from 250 meters for Teroldego to 300 meters for Gewurztraminer, 680 meters for Müller Thurgau, up to 780 meters for Manzoni and Kerner.

Quality is ensured by low yields per hectare, between 60 and 90 quintals of grapes, half of what certifications like Doc and Igt recommend.

In the fields, Rudi follows biodynamic principles using nettle, horsetail, and chamomile infusions, while in the cellar, he only employs native yeasts, without enzymes or other additives, and a small correction of sulfur only at bottling.

Today, the winery produces several expressions, with a prevalence of white wines.
