Winery

The Pojer e Sandri Winery was established in 1975 by the encounter of the young Fiorentino Sandri and Mario Pojer. The former had just inherited about two hectares of vineyards, while the latter had recently graduated as an oenologist from the prestigious San Michele all'Adige School of Oenology. This fortunate combination came to life thanks to the common desire to produce high-quality wine from vineyards located between the Adige Valley and the Cembra Valley, precisely on the hill of Faedo. This hill, according to many, had a limited vocation for viticulture.

With almost immediate success, the winery grew through the acquisition of new lands, and currently, the vineyard area covers 26 hectares, spread across 6 different municipalities.

From the beginning, alongside the winery, a distillery has always been present, and it was among the first in Trentino to produce single-vineyard grappa. In 1982, the distillery's equipment was replaced with a bain-marie distiller, ideal for high-quality distillations, and later renovated in 1993. Regarding spirits, the production includes grappas and brandy.

In the Val di Cembra, two old farmhouses have been renovated where wine and fruit vinegars are produced. In Cembra, there is also Maso Besleri, offering 5 mini apartments that are rented out during the spring/summer.
