The origins of the winery’s name are a blend of history and legend: the Lombard King Rotari fought some of the most important battles in his conquest of Italy here in Trentino-Alto Adige.
The Rotari Winery is like a sparkling jewel set in the foothills of the mountains in Mezzocorona. Founded in 1904, Gruppo Mezzacorona boasts 1,600 members and 2,800 hectares of vineyards in Trentino-Alto Adige’s finest grape-growing areas. Vignerons, agronomists and oenologists work daily alongside members, lovingly tending the plants over their entire life cycle from grape to wine.
